The gardens are springing into life

 In Blog

Well March really did go out like a lion – strong winds and heavy rain did not help Daffodil Sunday!

However the garden is in great shape… The dogwoods and willows are all cut back and starting to regenerate. The borders are all looking fresh and ready to burst into life (well mulched with our home made compost).

The Leucojum and snakehead fritillaria are just starting to flower on the bulb bank and the early daffodils are looking great.

We are expecting there will be a magnificent display of the later narcissi awaiting visitors when we open in early May.

More news to follow later in the month: for now enjoy some pictures from this week…
